Fisconti’s Technical Support Team can handle particularly technical, delicate or sensitive issues. This support team consists of experienced tax professionals in various tax fields and is headed by professor J.F.M. Giele.

We have extensive experience in advising on tax issues relating to domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings whereby legal entities within the group are either transferred, liquidated, merged or demerged.

Fisconti advises companies about the tax treatment of anticipated investments in order to be able to make solid decisions regarding the location where such an investment can best be made. Fisconti is frequently asked to advice in various Dutch (international) tax issues. Our expertise in this field is extensive, ranging from valuation of inventories or work in progress to tax allowed depreciation of tangible and intangible assets to allocation of profits to permanent establishments. We also monitor changes in Dutch tax law and developments in tax jurisprudence in order to advise our clients about the impact that such changes may have on their business.

We advise on developing the most tax efficient ways in which to plan and structure our clients’ businesses and to control tax issues within a complex corporate organisation.

Tax rulings

We find it important to maintain good professional relations with the tax authorities. This provides your company a basis to make advance agreements (tax ruling) with the Dutch Revenue in relation to your company’s tax matters, including the tax consequences of anticipated transactions or structures. We have extensive experience in negotiating tax rulings with the tax authorities.
